China being pressured by the international community to open Tibet to journalists, led them to escorting journalists in a three day visit. It sounds a bit like a coach holiday. This is China's attempt at pleasing the international community at the same time as keeping control themselves. A bit like when it comes to democracy, China has a national assembly in which there are only members of the Communist Party. So these journalists won't be able to see very much, they won't exactly be aloud to go and interview some protesters. So instead some Monks made themselves heard. As the journalists were touring a Temple they interrupted shouting Tibetan slogans.
